Christ University was formerly
Christ College (Autonomous) affiliated to Bangalore University.
Established in July 1969, Christ College is a premier educational
institute of Bangalore. The college has an innovative and modern
curriculum.
Madras Christian College
The college was founded as a
school in 1837. It is known as much for its academic standing and
leadership building as it is for social commitment. Today, the college
has more than 5,000 students and over 220 faculty members serving in 31
departments.

The department aims to innovate
the areas of Computer Applications; to advance and enhance commercial
application and visual application development; to build interest in
students for specialized research in inventing new data base designs and
to guide students in building efficient information systems. The class
room is designed with an IT environment and equipped with projectors.
Maharani Laxmi Ammanni (MLA) College For Women
Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni
College for Women was founded in 1972 by Dr.K.N.V Sastri, Dr. M.N
Mahadevan, and Sri. T.S Rajam. The college was established in response
to the persistent demands of the residents of North Bangalore for an
exclusive women?s college in their neighbourhood. The college made a
humble beginning with just 12 students on its rolls and a government
school building as its workspace.
MOP Vaishnav College for women
The college was established in
1992 and today offers 13 UG, 6 PG courses and a research programme in
the Department of Commerce. The college, affiliated to the University of
Madras, has 3,030 students.
Mehr Chand Mahajan D. A. V. College for Women
MCM DAV College for Women,
Chandigarh, was established in 1968. This multi-faculty institution has
been marching forward aided by timely expansion of the goal-oriented and
value-added facilities be it academic or infrastructural.
Loyola College
Loyola College was founded by
the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1925, with the primary objective of
providing university education in a Christian atmosphere for deserving
students, especially those belonging to the Catholic community. Although
this college is meant primarily for Catholics, it admits other students
irrespective of caste and creed.
