Govenment Colleges of Engineering in Rajasthan

Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur

The college was established in 1963 with the name as Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, Subsequently; on June 26, 2002 the college has been given the status of National Institute of Technology and on 15 August 2007, Proclaimed Institute of National Importance through Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. More than 12,000 students have already been graduated since its establishment.







Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Rajasthan

The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur represents a distinctive culture of engineering and science education along with other areas of scholarship and generates research to best fulfil the current and emerging needs of society, enhancing its prosperity through environmentally sustainable means. Founded in 2008 in collaboration with France, IIT Jodhpur functions through centres of excellence with innovative curriculum design, interdisciplinary research and thought leadership, delivering to society leaders who are entrepreneurial and well-rounded. 







Faculty of Engineering (previously, MBM Engineering College), Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur

Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur was established in 1962 as University of Jodhpur. There are four Government Colleges of Jodhpur became part of the University
Jai Narain Vyas University is a residential university but the Colleges situated within the municipal limits of Jodhpur are affiliated to the University. Date of UGC recognition as university July 14, 1962.





University College of Engineering, RTU, Kota

Rajasthan Technical University was setup in 2006 by Govt. of Rajasthan to enhance technical education in Rajasthan. The university is situated on Kota-Rawatbhata Road, about 10 Km from Kota
Bus Stand and 14 Kms from Kota Railway Station.





College of Technology & Engineering, Udaipur

The College of Technology and Engineering was established in 1964 by offering undergraduate course in Agricultural Engineering. It had its beginning in the Rajasthan College of Agriculture and shifted to its present premises on new campus of the University in 1968. Academic and physical facilitates of Udaipur Polytechnic was also transferred by state government to the College in 1975-76.

Engineering College, Bikaner

udging by the date of establishing year, CET is relatively a new arrival in the arena of technical institutions. It was established in 2007, as an autonomous body of Govt. of Rajasthan, amidst the brown blooms of desert island, Bikaner. It has made its mark by inspiring quality education. Total intake of College is 1800 students including all six branches of Engineering and MBA.To create Techno-Managers for meeting current and future demands of the industry with emphasis on leadership qualities, social sensitivity and eye to grasp opportunity at global perspective. 







Government Women Engineering College, Ajmer

GWECA is the first & solitary Women Engineering College of Rajasthan in the whole Northern India. Honorable Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of this college on 30thApril, 2007.






MLV Textile and Engineering College, Bhilwara

Manikya Lal Verma Textile Institute was subsisted in 1984. The industrialists of Bhilwara joined hands with the government of Rajasthan to bring about the establishment of the only engineering college of Rajasthan offering a degree in textiles.
In the year 1988; it was upgraded to a degree level engineering college and rechristened Manikya Lal Verma Textile Institute. It started with the Textile Technology branch with an intake of 30 students per year through RPET. It is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan and is approved by A.I.C.T.E.








College of Engineering & Technology,Bikaner

The Government College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Bikaner is an autonomous institution of the government of Rajasthan. The college comes under the Government Engineering College Bikaner Society (ECB Society) which is a model institution of the government of Rajasthan. CET has a Ceramic Centre for testing and R&D.
 







Government Engineering College, Jhalawad

The Government Engineering College Jhalawar has been newly established in the year 2007. It is obligatory to set up  and nurture the academic environment in Jhalawar through this Engineering College, now running in its second year, with a pride well supported by Nature in the form of lush greenery, perennial rivers like ‘kalisindh’ and ‘Chandrabhaga’  giving an clarion call to the youths to awaken and step ahead to participate in the area of Engineering and Technology. 







Engineering College, Bharatpur

At the serene outskirts of the city Bharatpur, GECBH is located at Agra-Jaipur National Highway No.-11. It was established in the year 2007 with a vision "To make students technologically superior and ethically strong and build them as professionals who will become the trendsetters in the industry". Since then it has constantly grown with very fast pace. It is the first government engineering college in the Bharatpur division. The campus is spread over an area of 40 acres. It offers students a peaceful atmosphere.
